Tamsin Rose

As a moderator, Tamsin Rose uses her lifetime of experience in the European policy arena to reveal breakthrough perspectives, actionable insights and drive consensus amongst diverse participants, often with opposing views. She is known for enabling speakers and audiences alike to see the big picture and discover new ways of approaching some of Europe’s toughest challenges.

Throughout her career as a journalist and communications expert, she has lived in Moscow, Paris and Brussels and carried out assignments in 33 European countries and counting. Health policy has been a common thread throughout. She is known for creating safe spaces for patients and caregivers to share their stories in ways that shape policy, while translating scientific jargon into plain language that all people can understand.

Tamsin has served as Secretary-General of the European Public Health Alliance, a pan-European platform of NGOs, as well as been a Senior Fellow for Health at Friends of Europe and the Africa Europe Foundation. While in Moscow, she was Deputy Head of Press and Information at the EC Delegation. Her experience leading communication for EU-funded projects has given her unique insights into the workings of government and how policy actually gets implemented on the ground.

She is also known for her acumen as a trainer. Tamsin offers coaching in public speaking as well as workshops on facilitation and stakeholder engagement among other skills. She is especially sought after by institutions, NGOs and philanthropic foundations.
